Wayne recently posted on the message boards on this very subject, and here's what he had to say:

"Greetings from Burbank,

I am very excited to inform everyone (you heard it here first) the live dvd is tentatively scheduled for an October release. The disc consists of the entire show, 17 songs, recorded live in Spokane during the Cannibal Killers Tour last year. I am so excited to share this with everyone. We had six cameras shooting from all angles, and the audio is completely raw and sounds fucking awesome. There will also be a special edition dvd available with some vintage Static material I found in my vault that is priceless!

Here's the update on the new cd: We start rehearsals next week and will start recording soon after that. I'm still shooting for a February 2009 release, but that is only an estimate at this time. The new songs have the heaviness of Cannibal, but have the hypnotic dimensions of Death Trip and Machine. I am so excited about the new songs I am tempted to invite you all to my house and play you the demos.

Stay tuned, I will keep all of you informed on any new developments. And thanks for the continued support! I appreciate it."
